Industrial workshop

RoBUTCHER technical partners (NMBU, Animalia, ByteMotion, RobotNorge, Obuda University and Danish Meat Research Institute) met in Oslo on 17-18 February to follow up on practical issues, understanding current industry practice and how that varied from the process to be used in the Meat Factory Cell (MFC) to be developed in RoBUTCHER.

That was illustrated through a visit to a slaughter house in Oslo, in addition to demonstrations at both Animalia’s pilot cutting facility and NMBU’s own MFC demonstrator facility at Ås.
