RoBUTCHER concepts presented at IEEE 42nd International Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology
On 13-16 May 2024, the IEEE 42nd International Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO) took place in Kyiv, Ukraine. The conference remains an important outlet for topics in the area of electronic engineering, which has included sensor systems developed at NMBU as part of the RoBUTCHER project, and PhD studies of Dmytro Romanov. While travel to Ukraine is challenging, the conference has embraced online attendance, allowing the event – now with its 42nd occurance – to take place.
At the conference, Dmytro presented two papers:
- Smart Knife Tool For Cognitive Assistance In Robotic Surgeries
- Utilising Vibration Feedback in Robotic-Assisted Applications
The work follows on from the development of a “smart knife” within the RoBUTCHER project, and marks continued improvement and exploration of the concept.
More information about the event can be found on the conference website (see: https://elnano.ieee.org.ua/). Thank you to the organisors for continuing with this conference series!
